Quick Q & A Twitter Style: Smoky Eye

Q:

@makeupartist want to do a dramatic smoky eye for tomorrow night. Have: some tools and supplies, willing to get more. Need: clue as to how.

A:

@shoot_the_moon you need one dark shadow and a black eyeliner and mascara…then blend blend blend!

@shoot_the_moon use your fingers only. Put a layer of shadow then liner, then smudge liner, then reapply liner. Top with mascara & done!

    It ended up lookin’ pretty good. At first, it looked like I got punched in the face, but I kept going and I think it turned out nicely. At least, no one walked up to me and asked “What happened to your FACE?” So, thanks!
